Located in the heart of Delray Beach, Florida, Palm Trail is a beautiful neighborhood blending suburban charm with coastal allure. Known for its mix of modern and well-established homes, Palm Trail offers residents a unique lifestyle marked by convenience, community, and proximity to some of Delray’s best attractions.

One of Palm Trail’s standout features is its diverse housing stock. You’ll find everything from sleek apartment complexes to spacious townhomes, many built since 2000, alongside properties from the 1970s and 1990s. This variety caters to different tastes and budgets, with homes ranging from 2,960 to over 9,530 square feet. Price points reflect this diversity—expect to pay anywhere from $500,000 for a smaller condo to upwards of $10 million for a luxurious, high-end residence. The neighborhood’s real estate is considered high value, appealing to buyers seeking both investment potential and a quality living experience.

In the last half dozen years, Palm Trail is seeing a conversion from mid-century homes to a modern feel. On the south end of Palm Trail, NE 7th Avenue is now closed to traffic due to the landmark development Atlantic Crossing. This development began in 2018 and is Delray’s largest project yet.

Atlantic Crossing now has over 40 apartments for long-term rentals, retail and four restaurants that are drawing crowds: Hampton Social, Le Colonial, Gabriela’s and Hyde Park. These are in phase one of this massive project.

Under construction is phase two that will bring more restaurants, retail, commercial and luxury condos that’ll start around $1.8 million. Expect phase two to be ready in 2027.

Living in Palm Trail means being steps away from Delray Beach’s lively offerings. Marina Delray, along the intracoastal on George Bush Blvd, is a boater’s paradise with dockage for yachts and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s perfect for weekend outings or a sunset cruise. Dining options also shine here.

Lifestyle in Palm Trail consists of beautiful old Florida tropical trees lining the streets. You’ll find residents walking everywhere. From here you can walk or bike to the Delray’s mile-long beach from the north side or via Atlantic Avenue.

Nearby, you’ll find gems like 800 Palm Trail Grill, a contemporary American spot known for its gourmet menu and happy hour. Then there are the two French eateries: The French Bakery, Maison Bouchardand adjacent on Federal Hwy. Plus a short golf cart away to an array of Atlantic Avenue restaurants offering everything from fresh seafood to farm-to-table fare. These eateries, paired with the neighborhood’s walkable vibe, make Palm Trail a foodie’s delight.

Plus, Palm Trail residents are a short 3-5 block walk to Pineapple Grove. This area is becoming a hot spot with the rise in restaurants and hotels. And looking into the future, Pineapple Grove has three properties that could be turned into more retail, housing and overall entertainment. So, folk who plan on living in the Palm Trail neighborhood will be surrounded by a fun Florida lifestyle.

Palm trail has a high entry-price for ownership. The other mainland neighborhood that’d “compete” is Tropic Isle at the southern end of Delray Beach.
