As high season peaks its nose through the clouds, today’s digest catches you up on current Delray Beach happenings…
*** First up is my latest condo listing. Regular readers know I don’t promote my listings in this forum, but as high season is upon us, interest in condo’s is seeing a surge.
What makes this condo unique? The magnificent location and huge walkability score (89/100), in Pineapple Grove, lots of natural light, newer impact windows, two gyms, his & her saunas, and… there’s no need to own a car.

*** A brief update on Sundy Village now that construction of the project at the epicenter of downtown Delray Beach is complete, and what you can expect to enjoy when all its tenants are in and it’s a thriving destination. Here’s a list of confirmed businesses:
– Barcelona Wine Bar (I’m drooling)
– Delray Beach Craft Brewing Co
– Maman – French bakery
Right now, you can walk through Sundy Village and get a feel for what’s in store (see bottom photo, above). But watch out for the robo-cop. Yup, there’s a robotic police cruising the area who might creep up on you. It escorted me off the property about a month ago.
*** Delray Beach Golf Club – It’s official. Starting November 3rd, the course will be closed for renovations. After more than 15 years of posturing and planning, Delray Beach Golf Club – that opened over 100 years ago – is getting a ‘modern’ facelift. And surely a ‘modern’ price increase, too.
The city will pour $28.5 million into the facility upgrade project over the next year. Their driving range will be open on a limited basis. The clubhouse and restaurant will be open thru December while going through renovations.
Expect the entire project to finish by November 2026. If you are a golf enthusiast, or you know of golfers looking for the next great 18 holes… pass this along to them.
