(Walking “club” Update: Last Saturday, regular reader Bob and I walked 6 miles. But we won’t be walking that far every time. We’d love you to join us this Saturday, 8am, Anchor Park, next to the playground. It’ll be a friendly stroll as we continue to make more connections and have some fun).
February in Delray Beach means one thing – it’s peak high season and the city is packed with people and a dozen or more events to share.
First up, if you’re still on your sofa wearing layers of clothing freezing up north and upset you’re not living in Delray… check out my recent video. As you’ll see, Delray Beach may have its best year ever when it comes to tourism, the real estate market, and the amount of events taking place.

* Tomorrow, Feb 1st, marks the opening day for Savor The Ave reservations (all events are in that link). DO NOT wait as these tickets will most likely sell out by the end of this week. If you’re new to this, it’s a dinner table about 5 blocks long along Atlantic Ave where restaurants showcase their best stuff. It’s a globally recognized event.
* Free Concerts at Old School Square.
* Saturday Night concerts
* The Delray Beach Open (Tennis) – it’s nationally televised and lasts between February 9 – 18th. Check out top ATP players and bump into some famous names.
* First Friday Art Walk Feb 2nd
* Black History Month
* Wellness Wednesday’s for Yoga enthusiasts
* Coco Market 1st Sunday of the month
* Downtown Delray Beach Craft Art Festival
* Art & Jazz on the Ave
