Delray Beach Parks – It’s time to get outside.

Whether you you live in Delray, or are planning to move here – most likely you’re unaware of the Delray Beach Parks. And there’s more than a handful of them to enjoy. That’s why I put this video together for you – to show you what’s available when it’s time to get outside and enjoy some nature that Delray Beach Parks has to offer.

Overall there are about 42 Delray Beach parks for you to enjoy. This would include small green areas. These are strewn all over the city. As you’re driving around, walking, skateboarding or cruising in your golf cart… make sure you stop and check them out.

But the main Delray Beach parks are managed by the city. And I will say – they do a great job.

Just recently they’ve upgraded gym equipment, kids slides, rock walls, sand pits and so much more. The city puts pride in maintaining and upgrading their parks as our area grows. And with the influx of people moving to Delray Beach, these parks are an integral part of our community.

Go check out Veterans park right on the intracoastal waterway. There’s a new playground area with gym equipment for young or elderly folks. Then bop on over to Lake View Park in the Lake Ida community – all new equipment. Barwick Park is about to get a facelift with all new gym equipment. But the city is working with Community Greening to plant thousand of plants all through Delray Beach Parks and beyond. It’s an important initiative the city committed to in 2019.

And in July 2021, in the Osceola Park community there was a ribbon cutting to celebrate to re-opening of Currie Commons park. The City didn’t spare a dime to make this playground and experience top notch. Take a look at one more of the Delray Beach Parks location for local citizens to enjoy…

Please take a look at the video above. Then get outside and enjoy Delray Beach Parks! They are built with you in mind.
