There’s never been a better time than now to be living in Delray Beach.

After spending years as the “step-child” to places like Palm Beach, Boca Raton or Hollywood… Delray Beach is finding itself in it’s hay-day and rightfully so.

Beyond the six new things you must know about our community, is our beach. It’s unique – one of a kind. Our beach is a direct shot east of I95. Drive 1.5 miles and you’re there. Turn left or right and you’ll get 1.25 miles of perfect public beach access along A1A. You can see mega-mansions, hotels and get a small-town vibe all at the beach.

But as we look inward you’ll witness these six new things that make living in Delray Beach a joy:

First are the improvements the city is making to the downtown neighborhoods. Tens of millions of dollars are pouring in to Osceola Park with new sidewalks, paved streets, improved alley’s and the and the art alleys are getting new paintings, too. This year, the NW district is getting an overhaul too. Main artery roads are being paved and the residential areas will see massive upgrades throughout 2023.

All these improvements are making living in Delray Beach more comfortable, safe and enjoyable.

Then we have our downtown real estate market, which is booming. From condos and townhomes that are all walking distance to Atlantic Avenue and over 68 restaurants, to new apartments… there is a buzz brewing.

Same with our beachside condo market. On the A1A from Atlantic ave to south of Linton Ave, older buildings are being renovated throughout. And the luxury condo market is thriving, too. Over four developments with multi-million dollar condos are already sold out.

And since 2014, the commercial development is as strong as ever. Over 4 new hotels in the past four years are now operating. Of course the Delray Beach Market with 24 food vendors is gaining popularity. Many prime locations have turned over ownership with impressive projects on the way like Atlantic Crossing, Sundy Village, and The Ray Hotel.

Of course, living in Delray Beach would not be complete without our animals. So yes, our community welcomes dogs with Lake Ida Dog Park. There are three fenced areas for small, medium and large breeds.

And last, the pickleball community is strong and growing like a weed. At the Delray Beach Tennis Center you’ll find a handful of courts dedicated to this thriving sport. Competitions are ubiquitous. Who would’ve thought this sport would be so popular here.

There’s so much going on in Delray that I need to create a new video every six months to keep you current and informed. So if you have an inclination about moving to, or living in Delray Beach… let’s talk. The time to be part of this incredible community has never been so good as now.
